...located on the Northeast side
...bordering Highwood and Summit

"I listen, I am always listening,
In fear that something might get by,
To the grammar of the public places,
But I fly toward possibility,
In the extravagantly gay
Surprise of a journey,
Careless that I am bound
To the flaming wheel of my bones."

"That's why I'm awful
glad to be born a Man
fattened in great portions
a Man's Man, extra virgin,
no depression Even what with
hammers penetrating kale
and flesh in still water"

i-you-

When I woke up the next morning it was snowing
I went to get my stuff on and I ran outside as fast
as I could. And when I got out there I sorted
________First I made the biggest
and rolled around the yard, after that
I made the middle part and then I did the head.
I put it all together, I used oreos for the eyes
and a carrot for its nose and for the smile I
put chocolate chips. It got a little cold so
I went inside and I got inside and had soup.

... Hello courage to ask ...

QUESTIONS FOR LAKE SUPERIOR - by S. Y.

What's the whitefish?
Perch or sucker, how deep
do those smooth rocks go
all the way out?
Approaching 500 feet
but all emptied out
at shore
there's nothing.
Windmills?
What's his name?
NO - I wanna know!
Don't act like you don't know.
-------------------------

QUESTIONS FROM LAKE SEARCH (superior -No; naively open)

The whitefish chameleon:
a sucker trawler, raw & duped
and steeped,
still skewing forward... Trust
Truth? jagged colorful flexing unknowable wind?
This 'army' whom until now
sneered rarely cheered
to the 'unveiling' of 'love letters'
What is love? endurance? exhilaration? romance?
Who is this guy? actor? cornucopia? guide?
Yes, I wanna understand
twin horses
of the Heart;
'one big love'
conformity, of which I'm learning.
